BETTER CALL SAUL – Season Six and Complete Series Arrive on Blu-ray 12/6

The hit, Emmy Award-nominated series, Better Call Saul, recently concluded its sixth and final season. Now, fans can finally own not only the sixth season on Bu-ray but the entire series as well later this December.

The hit, Emmy Award-nominated series, Better Call Saul, recently concluded its sixth and final season. Now, fans can finally own not only the sixth season on Bu-ray but the entire series as well later this December.

Sony Pictures Entertainment announced this week that Better Call Saul is receiving both a Season 6 and Complete Series Blu-ray release on December 6. Not only that, the Blu-ray release is packed with bonus and special features that fans will definitely be eager to check out. The hit show and spinoff of to television’s Breaking Bad starred Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Tony Dalton, and Giancarlo Esposito. It was executive produced by Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Thomas Schnauz, Gordon Smith, Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, and Michael Morris. Gillian and Gould are the show’s esteemed creators.

Season 6 concludes the journey of Jimmy McGill’s transformation into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman, as well as looking at Jimmy’s relationship with Kim, who is also dealing with her own existential crisis. Additionally, Mike, Gus, Nacho, and Lalo are locked in a deadly game of cat and mouse, where the stakes are high.

Fans will be happy to know that the Blu-ray release for Better Call Saul Season 6 is not a barebones release. Each episode will feature audio commentaries. There will also be some nice bonuses, including Deleted Scenes, Outtakes, Training Videos, Easter Eggs, and multiple featurettes.

Exclusive to the Blu-ray release will be the special features “Series Adjourned: Saying Goodbye to Saul” and “Fear and Loathing in Omaha: The World of Gene Takavic.” Another feature is “Wine and Roses – Casa Goodman.” There will also be Training Videos, and a feature called “American Greed.”

Season 6 of the show will also be available on DVD, but it will not feature the “Series Adjourned” and “Fear Loathing in Omaha” featurettes. So, if people still do happen to buy the DVD release, they will still get access to the deleted scenes, commentary, and more. It’s nice to see that Sony Pictures and the production team are not skimping on the extras for the home video releases.

The home video release of Better Call Saul Season 6 has a runtime of approximately 689 minutes. The Blu-ray version is presented in 1080p High Definition with a 1.78:1 aspect ratio. It includes the original English language track in 5.1 DTS-HD MA.

Fans of the hit show, collectors, and completists will now have the chance to own two seminal, highly acclaimed series on home video between Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. The shows may be over now, but the legacies and memories they leave behind will be ingrained in the minds of fans and viewers forever. Not to mention, the amount of extra features that are available for Season 6, such as the audio commentaries and deleted scenes, make this set look like a must-own for fans of the hit show.
