Go Go Loser Ranger Anime

A Go! Go! Loser Ranger! anime adaptation has been announced for the superhero manga series. The Sentai-inspired series will feature an unexpected main character, as a villain Foot Solider, tries to infiltrate a Super Sentai Squadron. The story is centered around a henchman from a defeated organization who rebels after being forced to re-enact their loss against the Dragon Keepers for spectators. The upcoming anime series has released the first visual and a special project video that teases the first installment.

Go! Go! Loser Ranger! (Sentai Daishikkaku) was created by the author of The Quintessential Quintuplets, Negi Haruba, who wrote and illustrated the release. The Manga series was first published in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine in the 10th issue, published on February 3, 2021, and currently consists of 8 volumes as of December 2022. The series was also nominated for the Best Printed Manga category during the seventh Next Manga Award in 2021.

The title, Go! Go! Loser Ranger! is a clear reference to the Power Rangers franchise and its theme song, Go Go Power Rangers. Despite this, most of the references are in reference to Super Sentai, not Power Rangers.

Long time fan of Tokusatsu fan since Power Rangers was first released in the 90s. Whereas most Superhero fans grew up with DC Comics and Marvel, my childhood was surrounded by releases from Saban Entertainment such as Beetleborgs, along with anime, and other various fads of the generation. Anime is also a great passion with Digimon, That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime, and Demon Slayer being significant favorites. It was the love of both Power Rangers and Digimon that led to the path of becoming a Senior Writer for The Illuminerdi.
