The long-awaited release of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is almost here. Ahead of the upcoming release Marvel Studios dropped a new promo video, highlighting the Quantum Realm, and had some juicy new footage to enjoy.

You can check out that new promo video for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel below:

NEW ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA FEATURETTE DETAILS KANG, THE QUANTUM REALM, AND MORE

The featurette includes brand-new interview footage with the main cast and crew, including producer Kevin Feige, Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp), Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne), and Jonathan Majors (Kang the Conqueror). There are also new clips and footage from the film that haven’t been shown yet in trailers and television spots.

The brand-new footage includes an expanded look at the “Quantum Realm,” which basically looks to be serving as the stand-in for the Microverse in the film. It appears to be a place that Janet is very familiar with as a “secret universe underneath ours.” Other trailers and footage have indicated that she is very well-versed in the Quantum Realm and Kang the Conqueror. So it appears Janet will be a helpful guide of sorts for the other heroes considering her past experience.

Producer Kevin Feige also noted that with people always underestimate Ant-Man, who figured out the secret to saving everyone in Avengers: Endgame, wanted to use Quantumania as the film to kick off Phase 5 of the MCU.

Jonathan Majors continues to look very impressive as Kang the Conqueror. There’s some new dialogue where Kang explains, “Your reality, everything you’re holding onto, I know how it ends.” It appears Kang the Conqueror is also aware of a great deal of multiversal knowledge, similar to his variant counterpart, He Who Remains, from the Marvel Studios series Loki. Majors notes in the featurette on Kang, “He cannot be contained.”

Additionally, there are a lot of new snippets of action footage. And the film definitely looks to be the most visually ambitious film in the trilogy so far. The scope of the story looks fairly massive and epic. It really looks like Marvel is pulling out all the stops to kick off Phase 5 of the MCU in a big way.

The upcoming sequel is directed by Peyton Reed, who returns after directing the first two films, with a script by Jeff Loveness. Loveness is also handling the scripting duties for a future MCU appearance of Kang in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which arrives in theaters on May 2, 2025. However, fans will get to see the character for the first time in all his glory in less than three weeks in Quantumania.

The wait won’t be long now for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. The film finally hits theaters on Feb. 17, 2023.
