So it looks like Marvel and Disney are actually releasing a faux autobiography for Scott Lang. The book is actually available to pre-order now from Disney Books. To go along with the upcoming release of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Marvel released a promo featuring actor Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man) promoting the upcoming Scott Lang memoir.
You can check out that new promo with Paul Rudd promoting the very real faux biography below:
MARVEL AND DISNEY ARE RELEASING AN ACTUAL AUTOBIOGRAPHY FOR SCOTT LANG TO PROMOTE ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA
In the setting of Quantumania, Scott Lang has released a new autobiography about his life as a superhero and helping to save the world in Avengers: Endgame. Now that book within the movie is actually being published for real. It even has fake quotes from Bruce Banner, “the fellow Avenger,” who says, “introduced the man behind the hero, and the hero I call friend.”
The memoir is aptly titled Look Out for the Little Guy. According to the promotional material, Scott Lang shares his life story about his struggles and triumphs, serving time, becoming a divorced dad and then joining the Avengers. It says that this is an “everyman turned Superhero finally tells all–from the official account of what really happened between The Avengers and Thanos, and to how shrinking down to ant-size feel to the challenges of balancing the roles of hero and dad.”
Rudd is clearly having fun with what is essentially a movie prop that has been realized as a real-life book. He even jokes, “In this book, I’m almost certain was not written by me, we pull back the curtain and uncover the man behind Ant-Man, Scott Lang.”
The book synopsis also reads that throughout all of his adventures, after readers understand Scott Lang’s journey, “you won’t need to be reminded…to look out for the little guy.” The book promo is an amusing little riff on like an ad or an infomercial. Rudd is a gifted comedian, so it’s always fun to see him in material like this, having a bit of fun with his portrayal as Ant-Man and the world of the MCU.
The excitement is definitely building for Quantumania, and it’s amusing that Marvel Studios is having fun with Scott Lang getting his own book deal in the film. It looks like the film will pick up with things looking up for Scott Lang, with his book deal and making progress in his relationship with Hope Van Dyne, aka, The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly). But there’s also that guy who confuses him with Spider-man.

The faux Scott Lang autobiography, Look Out for the Little Guy will be out later on after the movie’s release. The book hits the shelves on Sept. 5. Fans can pre-order the book at Amazon, Books a Million, Indigo, and Barnes & Noble.
