One of the greatest things about the Super Bowl are the commercials created for it. To be honest though, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Amongst Thieves really does not need an additional reason to drop a trailer. Also, since the trailer is footage of the movie, they can just drop and create trailers whenever they want to. With the film a little more than a month away, audiences are going to be treated with more trailers, featurettes, and clips from the film. This is what Paramount Pictures set up for the Super Bowl.

What’s so cool about this trailer, is the rhymic symphony created by the sounds from the film. Fans who have invested in sound systems and headphones will be elated by this short, yet very impactful trailer. Sound is where the emotion of films is said to come from, and from this trailer, it seems like the movie is going to be fun and high-energy. Which are the ideal emotions for a good DnD session. In addition to the Big Game Spot, we were also treated with new character posters of the film’s main characters.

The Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Amongst Thieves character posters feature:

  • Regé-Jean Page as Xenk the Paladin
  • Michelle Rodriguez as Holga the Barbarian
  • Sophia Lillis as Doric the Druid
  • Justice Smith as Simon le Sorcier (or Simon the Sorcerer)
  • Hugh Grant as Forge Fitzwilliam
  • Chris Pine as Edgin the Bard

With other DnD-related properties, like The Legend of Vox Machina, thrilling audiences around the world, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Amongst Thieves has an audience primed for more fun, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt adventures. Plus with Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, and Hugh Grant, the performance level is guaranteed to be of the highest caliber. The biggest question is how the movie will incorporate elements of the game into the film, aside from the one-month delay that parties tend to always have to do.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Amongst Thieves releases exclusively in theaters on March 31, 2023.

Kevin Fenix

Professional Nerd | Amateur Human | Creative/Content Director The best way to describe Kevin Fenix is the kid you never tell what the buttons do in video games so you have a chance to win. Being 6’ 4” and Asian, he never really fit in, so he got comfortable standing out. Not only is it easy to find him in crowds, he dabbles in the culinary arts, does a little stand up and improv, and can honestly say Spider-Man is the Jesus-like influence of his life. Kevin Fenix loves dogs, movies, television, comics, comedy, and to shoot people… with video.
