The Cast of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury has finally revealed live-action previews for their weapons, previously teased in the art. These include the first look at the Red Ranger and the Gold Ranger weapons, which have yet to be shown. The other weapons for the series have been revealed by posts on social media, but the new image suggests one of the weapons may be a different type than expected. Here is the full analysis of the reveal shared in celebration of Green Ranger, Tesso Rao’s birthday.
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is the Season 3 installment of the Rangers in Power Rangers Dino Fury, which sees the 6 Rangers redesigned for their space adventure. The six Rangers have all been revealed during Hasbro Pulse events as they receive upgraded suits that keep their Dino motifs, with two Rangers receiving new colors. The new suits for the Ranger also include an upgraded design for the Dino helmets, along with new exclusive weapons for 5 members of the team. Live Action previews have already been shared on social media from the excited cast members, which followed their reveal featured in Hasbro Pulse’s Power Rangers 30th anniversary Livestream.
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury Cast Image Personally Reveals Weapons
The latest image was shared by Chance Perez to commemorate Tesso Rao’s Birthday, which also revealed the first look at the live-action weapons for the Gold and new Red Ranger. This includes the Ankylo-themed hammer and Mosasaur-themed weapon, which was previously expected to be a gun or cannon according to the art. This new image reveals the Gold Ranger’s weapon to be a Sword, which could be a change in concept or the primary mode that wasn’t shared in art form.
The images also grant a better look at the new Red Ranger, as Hunter Deno has yet to share any new images of her latest look on social media. This is also the first time that fans have gotten to see the Hammer and its details, along with a fresh look at the Tiger Daggers for the Green Ranger. The weapon revealed for the Gold Ranger also confirms the Ranger will have the same Morpher, with the weapon held in his right arm. This differs from the art of the Gold Cosmic Fury Ranger, which was the 2nd Ranger to be revealed for the new series.

The toothed cannon for the Cosmic Fury Gold Ranger is a perfect selection as the Dino Fury version mostly used a gun and a Short Sword for his arsenal. The combination of the Mosa-themed Sword and the blaster function for the Morpher will be a killer combination, which will be fantastic for combat scenes. The Power symbol on top of the weapon is also a fantastic detail that couldn’t be seen from the angle in the art, which adds to the powerful appearance for the blade.
Whether the Mosa-themed weapon has two switchable modes has yet to be revealed, but it’s fantastic to finally see the Ankylo Hammer even without the head detail in view at the bottom of the handle. Here are all the live-action reveals for each member of the team compared to their concept art.
The complex details on the weapons are a perfect complement to the bold colors on the Ranger suits, which suggests the Weapons are a important part of the design. It is unlikely that any of these weapons will be able to combine, but it would be a fantastic surprise if they were able to.
These may be the only weapons to be given to these Rangers, but there might be more surprises for new additions that will soon enter the series. This includes the Zenith Ranger as Zayto has yet to be given any weapons and the recent surprise discovery of the Orange Ranger. It will be exciting to find out what other additions the series will feature, especially since all these weapons will likely feature for figures and Lightning Collection releases.
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury will be released worldwide as Netflix exclusive series, with the first 10 episodes released this year. The official premiere and release date for the latest Power Rangers series has yet to be revealed but announcements are expected after Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always airs on April 19 via Netflix.
