Dr. Stone returns with the announcement of the 3rd season, New World, to premiere on Crunchyroll. The popular science-infused, post-apocalyptic anime series was revealed to debut the next installment on the anime streaming service, starting a new chapter for fans to enjoy. The new season follows the Kingdom of Science led by Senku as they set their eyes on the next objective of discovering the source of the mysterious phenomenon by conquering their next hurdle, a voyage across the sea.
Dr. Stone features science enthusiast, Senku and his friends as they emerge from a global petrification event that ended civilization 200 years ago. The story follows the scientific genius as he attempts to solve various challenges and the mystery of the global phenomenon with his potent knowledge of science and technology. Dr. Stone currently consists of 2 seasons with a total of 36 episodes and 1 special episode, which are all available to enjoy on Crunchyroll for fans who wish to start the anime series or catch up before the debut of Season 3.
Dr. Stone: New World Arc Revealed
Senku and his Kingdom of Science will embark on a new journey across the sea when Dr. Stone New World premieres around the globe on Crunchyroll on April 6, 2023, at 7:30 AM PDT, which will simulcast new episodes every Thursday from Japan.
Along with a brand new trailer reveal of the upcoming third highly anticipated season, Crunchyroll can confirm the English dub will begin premiering on April 20, 2023, at 12:30 PM PDT with new episodes every week. Additional dubs from Crunchyroll will also include German, French, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, and Italian, with launch dates to be announced at a later time.

Concretely established in a post-apocalyptic world based on the popular manga series of the same name, written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, and serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, Dr. STONE New World is directed by Shuhei Matsushita (Dr. STONE Ryusui) with animation produced by TMS Entertainment, who are known for MEGALOBOX, Fruits Basket (2019), ReLIFE, and Kamisama Kiss.
