Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning trailer has been revealed for the English Dub movie release in the US. Fathom Events has featured the trailer for the upcoming Digimon movie, with the release date revealed for theatres. This is the first announcement regarding the latest release that continues the story of the original 2-season series, this time featuring the iconic characters of the 2nd Season. Details regarding the limited theatrical release have been revealed, including showings during November.
Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning features the 02 DigiDestined as they continue their lives after 10 years since their Digital World Adventure. Davis, Ken, Yolei, and Cody previously featured with their Digimon partners in Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. However, they will now feature in their direct continuation, while also encountering the first DigiDestined. The movie has already been revealed to feature the iconic DNA Digivolutions from the 2nd Season, along with a new Digimon, Ukkomon, and the mysterious origins of all Digimon finally revealed.

Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning trailer for the English Dub has been revealed by Fathom Events, along with the limited theatrical release in the US. The details of the release have been announced, including two dates for viewings during November. Both the Dub and Subbed screenings of the new Digimon movie will be available, plus the first 50 guests who arrive each night will receive the Digimon Card Game Tamer Party Pack -THE BEGINNING- ver. 2.0, which includes 3 out of 14 possible cards from the new Digimon Card Game deck commemorating the film.
It’s fantastic to finally get the release date revealed outside of Japan, but the announced dates are only within the US. For fans who wish to see the movie, this is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the release, along with the lucky few who can obtain the themed Digimon trading cards before their general release in December. No matter which version of the movie you prefer to watch, the movie will be an exciting and nostalgic experience, with added reveals to witness.

Although the DNA Digimon are featured, a lot of fans were hoping that the Armor Digimon would also make their appearance. There is so much yet to be revealed for the upcoming movie, so there is likely a lot to witness when finally seeing the movie. More movies will likely follow for the 2nd DigiDestined group, especially as Agumon and Gabumon are seen returned in the future for the Season 2 finale. So far, only the disconnected 3rd Season of Digimon, known as Digimon Tamers, had the origins of Digimon revealed so it will be exciting to find out the lore behind the original storyline.
Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning will be released in the US on November 8, 2023, for the English Dub and November 9, 2023, for the subtitled release. The movie will be distributed by Fathom Events, with screenings at 7 p.m. at local theatres.
