A major leak hit Insomniac Games last night by the ransomware group, Rhysida, after denying ransom demands by the group (via TheVerge). The leak includes details of the studios’ upcoming Marvel and Ratchet & Clank releases as well as test gameplay for the previously announced Marvel’s Wolverine.
Insomniac Games Upcoming Slate Revealed in Massive Data Leak
The upcoming Insomniac Games slate includes.
- Marvel’s Venom (2025)
- Marvel’s Wolverine (2026)
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 (2028)
- Untitled Ratchet & Clank (2029)
- Marvel’s X-Men (2030)
An upcoming Venom game from Insomniac was already rumored. This is due to voice actor Tony Todd teasing that he has recorded much more voice lines for Venom than what we saw in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Insomniac also previously revealed that they are working on a third AAA game alongside Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine in August. It seems like this could have been Venom all along.
Players already got to briefly play as Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It seemed odd that they built a whole system around a character you can only play as in one mission. Now, it seems like fans will be getting a lot more Venom in the coming years.
Perhaps most shocking of all, it seems that all of this is building up to a massive X-Men team-up game made by Insomniac Games.
This makes sense considering the studio’s development on Marvel’s Wolverine which initially seemed kind of random alongside the likes of Marvel’s Spider-Man. Spider-Man has teamed up with the X-Men quite a bit in the comics so perhaps this could be a match made in heaven for the Insomniac Marvel universe.
The gameplay for Marvel’s Wolverine was also leaked revealing climbing mechanics as well as smelling mechanics players can use in the game. Overall, it seems like Insomniac Games has a very exciting slate of games for fans to look forward to in the next decade. And fans won’t have to wait long for more Insomniac-Marvel action.
