Brave Yourselves… New Anime Is Coming

Crunchyroll Anime

Many new animes have debuted on Crunchyroll as part of the new year’s schedule of content. We have selected 5 out of the latest releases, which have had us invested in future episodes after just watching the few that have aired. With so many new and continuing titles unleashed onto the iconic platform, we have specified these new series but mostly include the simulcast with subtitles. Here are the top 5 new anime to begin watching during the Winter 2024 line-up, which should be on your watchlist.

5) BURN THE WITCH (New Episode Every )

When Fantastic Beasts mixes with John Wick, this anime series seems to be the story that delivers this concoction. Its magical lore features dragons, a reverse-world society, and even uses the booming city of London. This is a brilliant new story that adapts the action fantasy one-shot manga by Tite Kubo, plus it also takes place in the Bleach universe. With a grasping and tense story already proceeding, see Noel and Ninny in action as they work for the Wing Bind, so they get money and points for protecting and managing the dragons of London.

4) The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic (New Episode Every Friday – English Dub Premiere: 19/01/24)

A new Isekai series that features two heroes and one accidental fellow student, but things take a big turn when this unintended addition discovers a unique aptitude for healing magic. This great new anime series focuses on Usato as the accidental summon discovers he can be trained beyond the normal limits. With an amusing lore of a healing user seen as more of a scary brute, this is a great new take on the concept of healing magic as a cheating method to rapidly gain muscle and power. We highly recommend this anime as it features a great new Isekai adventure as two intended heroes are joined by magic users who use healing the wrong way.

3) The Unwanted Undead Adventurer (New Episode Every Friday)

This new anime series answers the question of how things can quickly turn from bad to brilliant as one adventurer finds his end is a new beginning. Rentt is a hunter stuck at being poor at his job until he discovers an undiscovered path that brings him face to face with a legendary dragon that causes his demise. However, he finds himself awake as a skeleton, much like the creatures that roam the dungeon. Fortunately, he can achieve Existential Evolution, which may help him find a way to rejoin the outside world. This story leads to many new instances for anime fans to explore, including how a monster theory can apply to a reborn victim of a dungeon. We can’t wait to see where this story leads and what Rentt will unlock as he progresses.

2) Fluffy Paradise (New Episode Every Sunday)

A delightful Isekai about a reincarnated woman who simply wants to snuggle any animal, with fluff or even scales. Midori was reincarnated from an overworked office lady, who is given the option for any special abilities. However, her simple desire for cute fluffy pets leads to her gaining a unique ability, causing any non-human creature to like her. This leads to many brilliant encounters and even some OP events as Midori finds a range of amazing beasts and mythical monsters. From hilarious reactions to amazing creatures, this is a great new anime series that will feature many delightful moments for fans to enjoy.

1) Solo Levelling (New Episode Every Saturday/ English Dub Premiere: 20/01/24)

The premiere took anime fans by storm as the long-awaited anime adaptation finally debuted. This includes both the simulcast and the English Dub of the anime that can only be found on Crunchyroll. As hunter Jinwoo is stuck as the world’s weakest, a devastating fight in a dungeon leads to an unexpected discovery after being brutally slaughtered by high-ranking monsters. Fans are anxious to see every episode, with the anime becoming their new favorite release even with just a few episodes. As each installment is released, we highly recommend not missing out and joining the latest hype among the anime community.

Crunchyroll Winter 2024 anime line-up is currently live, with more episodes following each series premiere. Each series on this list has debuted, so check out the weekly releases via the Simulcast Calendar for each episode release of the featured anime series.

Long time fan of Tokusatsu fan since Power Rangers was first released in the 90s. Whereas most Superhero fans grew up with DC Comics and Marvel, my childhood was surrounded by releases from Saban Entertainment such as Beetleborgs, along with anime, and other various fads of the generation. Anime is also a great passion with Digimon, That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime, and Demon Slayer being significant favorites. It was the love of both Power Rangers and Digimon that led to the path of becoming a Senior Writer for The Illuminerdi.
