The new gameplay trailer showcases the new Warfarer vocation that can be used exclusively by the Arisen and can access all weapons, along with a mysterious threat plaguing the Arisen’s loyal Pawn companions, Vocation Maisers who grant the Arisen access to all the skills of the highest order, and of course, new action gameplay of various foes players will meet in their experience. You can check out the game’s newly revealed action trailer for the title below:

The Warfarer Vocation is exclusive to the Arisen. This vocation can use every weapon and learn different skills from each Vocation. By using diverse weapons, the Warfarer can respond to any situation and create combos that cross Vocational boundaries. Also, the Warfarer’s lower base stats require them to utilize the situational strengths of different weapon types to be on par with other Vocations with specialized strengths.

Another feature of the game is the Dragonsplague. Dragonsplague is a contagious disease-like condition that infects pawns who travel between worlds. Instead of being weakened, pawns with the disease are said to display remarkable performance and become conspicuously bold in their speech and behavior. Folklore indicates that when the symptoms reach a terminal stage, it will result in calamity but the veracity of those claims is unclear.

During their travels, players will encounter vocation maisters who have mastered their chosen vocation to the fullest. By keeping the relationship with a vocation maister and gaining their approval, players can gain access to their vocation, or they can grant you special tomes that teach you high-level skills. These are the maister’s teachings.

These include the Fighter maister, Lennart, who has served at the fortress village of Melve. He has long held the fort together to protect the land from the Dragon. Also, the Mystic Spearhand maister Sigurd hunts dragons for personal gain. He constantly trains to improve his fighting skills and unique style. The court Oracle of Vermund, the trickster maister Luz is also hiding out for her life after speaking out against the False Arisen taking the throne.
