WWE is bringing Elimination Chamber to Perth, Australia in style this month with the premium live event WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth. Triple H announced that this year’s Men’s Elimination Chamber Match will determine the No. 1 contender for Seth Rollins and his World Heavyweight Championship for WrestleMania XL. The Elimination Chamber bout will be a six-man match, and the competitors will be determined in six elimination matchups held in the coming weeks! The upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth premium live event will be held at the Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia.

TRIPLE H SETS WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCHUP FOR PERTH

Since Cody Rhodes opted to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania XL, as was his right due to winning the men’s Royal Rumble match last month, that means Seth Rollins still needs an opponent for his title defense at the premium live event. The qualifying matches for Elimination Chamber will consist of top Superstars from both the Raw and SmackDown brands (Six from Raw, and six from SmackDown), including the following:

  • Former WWE Champion Randy Orton (SmackDown)
  • Former WWE Champion AJ Styles (SmackDown)
  • Former Universal Champion Kevin Owens (SmackDown)
  • Feigning US Champion Logan Paul (SmackDown)
  • Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley (SmackDown)
  • LA Knight (SmackDown)
  • Former WWE Champion The Miz (Raw)
  • former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre (Raw)
  • Former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn (Raw)
  • Former NXT North American and SmackDown Tag Team Champion Dominik Mysterio (Raw)
  • Former Raw Tag Team Champion Ivar (Raw)
  • Former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed (Raw)

Later in the night on tonight’s SmackDown, Drew McIntyre defeated AJ Styles to become the first to qualify for the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match. Randy Orton then defeated Sami Zayn to secure his spot in the matchup. So both McIntyre and Orton are now confirmed for the match.

The next two qualifying matches are Bobby Lashley vs. Bronson Reed and LA Knight vs. Ivar. Those matches will take place on Monday, February 12 on Monday Night Raw. This Monday’s Raw will emanate from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. The show will be broadcast live on USA Network starting at 8:00 PM EST.

WWE fans in Perth, Australia are now guaranteed to be getting two huge chamber matches in just over two weeks. First up is the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, with the winner going on to challenge for the Women’s World Championship, currently held by Rhea Ripley, at WrestleMania XL. So, the winner of that match will face the winner of Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax, which is scheduled for the premium live event.

Former champions “The Man” Becky Lynch and the “EST” of WWE, Bianca Belair, have already qualified for the women’s chamber match. Four more competitors are still to be determined later on similar to the men’s chamber match. Also set for the event, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) will defend their WWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles against the rising tag team of Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate.

So the WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth card is finally taking shape, and it looks like it will be a huge premium live event the WWE Universe will remember in this year’s Road to WrestleMania. The show will be broadcast live on Peacock. Fans will need to note it will have an unusual start time since it is airing live from Australia. This is part of WWE’s big international push for 2024, including WWE Backlash 2024 at the LDLC Arena in Grand Lyon, France on May 4. On August 31, WWE goes to Berlin, Germany with WWE Bash in Berlin at the Mercedes-Benz Arena
