HI-FI RUSH HITS PLAYSTATION 5 ON MARCH 19

Initially released in January of last year on Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC, Hi-Fi Rush quickly became a breakout, critically acclaimed hit. Developed by Tango Gameworks, the game is all about syncing everything to the beat, including combat sequences that perfectly align with the rhythm of the music, allowing for exhilarating gameplay that’s extremely satisfying.

In Hi-Fi Rush, a player’s moves aren’t dictated by music like in a traditional rhythm game. Instead, players have the freedom of a full-action game, and they’re able to input actions with the beat amplifying the player’s attacks along with the music. The story follows the wannabe rockstar Chair. After an evil robotics megacorporation fuses an old music player to his heart, labeling him as a “defect.”

However, a squad of corporate overlords and their army of robots are after him. Now, Chai must defend himself by using rhythmic combat and the help of a motley crew of allies to take down the company’s ruthless business leaders and escape.
