The end is coming for Star Trek: Discovery. Paramount+ this week debuted the official trailer for the upcoming fifth and final season of the hit original series. The show is slated to debut on the streaming service later in April across the globe.

The show will debut the first two episodes of the upcoming 10-episode final season on April 4 in the U.S., U.K., Switzerland, South Korea, Latin America, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, and Austria. It will also premiere on April 4 on Paramount+ in Canada. You can check out the newly revealed trailer for Season 5 below:

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY RETURNS FOR FINAL SEASON IN APRIL

In Season 5, Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery uncover a mystery that sends the crew on an epic adventure across the galaxy. They are searching for an ancient power whose existence has been deliberately hidden for centuries. However, there are other individuals on the hunt for the power as well. These dangerous foes are willing to stop at nothing to claim the prize for themselves.

Season 5 of the hit show stars Sonequa Martin-Green (Captain Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Saru), Anthony Rapp (Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker), Blu del Barrio (Adira) and Callum Keith Rennie (Rayner). Recurring guest stars for Season 5 include Elias Toufexis as L’ak and Eve Harlow as Moll.

Season 5 is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise serve as the series co-showrunners and executive producers. It’s also executive produced by Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Olatunde Osunsanmi, Sonequa Martin-Green, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth.

Star Trek fans can watch the first four seasons exclusively on Paramount+. Seasons 2 and 3 are also available on Pluto TV’s Star Trek channel in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. The show is being distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
