Kadokawa & Wright Film has released the names of new staff and cast to be joining the production for My Wife Has No Emotion, this comes after the big announcement back in Feb 2024, of the manga also known as Boku NO Tsuma Wa Kanjou Ga Nai is getting its own anime adaption and is set to first premier in Japan this summer.

The series debuts later this July. Japanese networks airing the My Wife Has No Emotion Anime include Tokyo Mx, MBS, and BS Asahi. You can also watch the latest trailer release for the upcoming anime series below:
MY WIFE HAS NO EMOTION CAST AND KEY VISUAL REVEALED
Production of the anime series will be handled by Tezuka Productions, who have worked on many anime series such as; How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, The Quintessential Quintuplets, and Dagashi. Stretching back to some more old-school anime series that you may remember, such as Astro Boy and Dear Brother. More of the company’s more recent work has produced the new anime The Fable, which debuted earlier in April.
Writing the composition and screenplay for My Wife Has No Emotion is Mitsuki Hirota. Hirota has written on many other anime projects such as; Rent a Girlfriend, Edens Zero, and the more recent Why Realiana Ended up at The Dukes Mansion. The cast for My Wife Has No Emotion is as follows:
- Takuma Kosugi- Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Voice of Kazuki Kurusu from Buddy Daddies)
- Mina- Yashi Inagaki (Voice of Godo from Berserk)
- Super Mina- Yu Serizawa (Voice of Kaname Arisugawa from Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You)
- Akari Kosugi- Yoshino Aoyama (Voice of Guri from Love Tyrant)
Voice actors Yu Serizawa “Super Mina” and Yoshino Aoyama “Akari Kosugi” shared how they both felt about their characters in their new voice acting roles, for My Wife Has No Emotion in these following comments to their fandom. Yu Serizawa “Super Mina”:
“The M107S is a general-purpose home appliance robot that aims to “do everything perfectly.” The pinnacle of the Mina series. I have a hard time concentrating on one thing. When I first encountered this work, I felt strongly that it was a work that I wanted to reach people living in today’s times. The character I play, Supermina, is somewhere between a robot and a human. She’s a super-meena, so she’s a very endearing girl because of what she can do, what she thinks, and how she puts her full effort into it. Nice to meet you.”
Yoshino Aoyama “Akari Kosugi”:
“Takuma’s younger sister. She has an interracial love fetish and is very interested in her brother and his wife. She has a bright personality and becomes friends with Mina as they talk about girls. Big brother loves it too! Mina loves it too! BIG LOVE about these two!!!! I’m also a relationship nerd, so I understand Akari’s feelings. It may be a fresh form of love for some viewers, but we just watch warmly as the two stare straight at each other. I will do my best to keep up with you! Thank you all for your support!!”

My Wife Has No Emotions anime series is adapted from the original manga work Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou Ga Nai written by Jiro Sugiura. The manga was first published in Media Factory’s monthly Comic Flapper magazine, on Aug 5, 2019. The manga series was then published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment in 2021. The manga consists of seven Tankobon volumes as of Oct 2023.

Synopsis: Takuma is just an ordinary guy living a boring life of going to work and coming home. Takuma is always too tired to do any housework, so he decides to get a robot to help him with cooking and cleaning. With Mina doing such a fantastic job of keeping the place tidy and keeping Takuma well-fed, he then starts to joke that Mina should become his wife. Or is this really a joke?
