Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive released the launch trailer this week for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, the long-awaited sequel to Space Marine. Additionally, Focus revealed that gold and Ultra edition owners can now jump in the fight ahead of the game’s full release set for next week.

The game will be hitting the shelves on Sept. 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC. You can check out the newly revealed launch trailer below.
SPACE MARINE 2 READIES FOR FULL LAUNCH NEXT WEEK
Gamers who pre-ordered the Gold or Ultra Editions of the game now have early access to Space Marine 2. Players will be able to take part in the single-player campaign partnered with PvE missions and PvP matches for some trademark Warhammer 40,000 fun and violence for all. Additionally, it looks like Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have a full year of content releases for the game, with multi-season releases planned.
It appears throughout the next game, Saber Interactive will drop new missions, items, and gameplay modes. A Horrde Mode is also in the works for Season 4 later in 2025. Also, it looks like there will be a sizable chunk of free updates for the game. Meanwhile, the Season Pass will bring new cosmetic and skin packs for the game.
In Space Marine 2, players will take the role of a Space Marine as they fight against the worst forces the galaxy has to offer. Players will be able to fight in close combat with a chainsword and decimate battlefields to annihilate the enemies of humankind.

Every mode in the game is fully co-op enabled, with customizable characters for PvE missions and PvP battles that can be upgraded as you play. New updates will be released later on for the post-launch support (see above).
