Adidas is collaborating with Sony and Insomniac Games to create a special, new set of sneakers and an apparel collection inspired by the upcoming highly anticipated video game, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Per Marvel.com, Adidas is teaming up with Marvel, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Insomniac Games for the new Peter Parker Advanced Suit and Venom collection, which will be featured in the game and released as a physical product line.
IGN has also revealed that updates on when the new shoe collection will be available through @IGNDeals and the IGN Deals Discord server.

NEW ADIDAS SHOE COLLECTION INSPIRED BY SPIDER-MAN 2 VIDEO GAME
The new shoe collection will be inspired by the moment when Peter Parker’s Advanced Suit is overtaken by the Venom symbiote, which is the central plot of the new game. The new collection also features a variety of training footwear and apparel, including the Ultraboost J and Ultra 4D sneakers, the Adizero 12.0 football cleat, sweatshirts, compression tights, and more for gamers and athletes alike.
Additionally, these products will also be featured in-game on some of the citizens Spider-Man will encounter throughout Marvel’s version of New York. Gamers and fans will be able to purchase the new collection starting October 20 through the adidas app, website, adidas stores, and selected retailers. So, Spidey fans can gear up just in time for the release of the new game.
Additionally, Select PlayStation Plus members are expected to receive an email soon that will contain instructions on how to join adiClub. Members will receive the chance to secure a pair of the highly anticipated Ultra 4D advanced sneakers even before they hit the market.
Thus far the new video game is looking promising, and it looks like it will very much live up to the standard that was set by the first Spider-Man video game from Insomniac. The introduction of the Venom symbiote, Kraven, and Venom himself looks like it will make this quite an exciting experience. Now there is the added bonus of a new adidas apparel collection, and some highly sought-after designer shoes, which it looks like fans will go crazy over, especially those in the collectible sneaker game.
The presence of Venom makes things look like this will definitely be a more intense and darker storyline for Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and all involved. It looks like Peter Parker will gain possession of the symbiote suit, which could potentially put him down a dark path unless he can fight back against it.
Besides Spider-Man 2, Insomniac is also developing a solo Wolverine video game, which looks like it will be the developer’s next big project following Spider-Man 2. As previously reported by The Illuminerdi, the game is rumored to be released later in 2024 for the PlayStation 5. However, no release date or release period have been confirmed yet by Sony Interactive Entertainment or Insomniac Games.

If the Insomniac Spider-Man games are anything to go by, Wolverine will hopefully be an exceptional video game experience that will be beloved by gamers and comic book fans alike. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 arrives on Oct. 20. The game will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 5 across the globe. The game will be rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
