Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home) may be taking a lead role in the upcoming Willow series for Disney+.
If he joins, Revolori will co-star alongside new faces Ellie Bamber, Cailee Spaeny, and Erin Kellyman – not to mention original Willow film cast member Warwick Davis in the title role.

Willow is set to be a continuation of the 1988 film of the same name that was directed by Ron Howard and written by Bob Dolman, both of whom will be involved on the show. It will pick up years after the film’s events and follow new characters. Jonathan Kasdan and Wendy Mericle will serve as co-showrunners, with Kasdan writing the pilot episode.
Tony Revolori Meets Willow
While details on the series are scant, we know via Deadline that it will follow a:
“group on a mission to save a kidnapped prince. The members of the team include Dove (Bamber), an unassuming kitchen maid whose backstory resembles that of Willow from the movie. Proven that she is “the chosen one,” she is joined on the journey by Kit (Spaeny), the princess whose twin brother was abducted.
Erin Kellyman plays Jade, a servant who is Kit’s best friend and moral compass. Also part of the group is a guy, referred to as Boorman, who echoes Val Kilmer’s character in the movie…a thief and liar who joins the quest in exchange for getting out of prison.”
Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy and Michelle Rejwan will executive produce Willow with Ron Howard, Roopesh Parekh, Roopesh Parekh, Hannah Friedman, Jonathan Kasdan, and Wendy Mericle. A release date is currently unknown, but the show will largely be shot in Wales as the original film was. Whether Tony Revolori is playing Boorman or a yet-undisclosed character is also unknown, but we do know it will be a lead role for the MCU and Grand Budapest Hotel actor.
