Last week we found out that Marion Dayre would be the head writer on a mystery Marvel series, and shortly after we learned that Peter Cameron (writer on WandaVision, Carnival Row, The Magic Order) would be co-producing a new Marvel series. What series? All we know is that it’s something that’s already been announced.
Cameron’s role as co-producer comes from his own LinkedIn page:
What Does Peter Cameron Say?
From his IMDB resume it’s curious to note that he’s not usually a producer, but mainly a writer and story editor. Whatever project this is, he’s going to be invested more heavily than he usual is. Marvel must be pretty happy with his work on WandaVision, especially after his “All-New Halloween Spooktacular!” script was nominated for an Emmy.
After other sites ran this news, Cameron tweeted that while it’s true, he’s specifically doing “a show that’s already been announced”. In May, he posted a picture of Oscar Isaac in front of Moon Knight concept art, so that’s possibly it. Whatever project it is, this is has only started development this year.
What do you think it could be? Let us know on our social media and in the comments below.
Upcoming Marvel studio shows include What If…? starting August 11 and Hawkeye on November 24. Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight are currently undated.
