Critical Role and Amazon Prime have just given Critters a truly exciting gift for Winter’s Crest with not only a new clip of the highly anticipated series, The Legend of Vox Machina, but a new release date, a full week earlier. The Legend Of Vox Machina will now debut on Amazon Prime January 28, 2022.

The new clip below demonstrates the beloved dynamic between Vox Machina as well as their notorious troubles when it comes to opening doors. In the clip Grog is hilarious as usual, begging Scanlan to get him a sandwich, as the gnome rushes off to find the rest of their adventuring party which he reluctantly does. As Grog feasts on his sandwich the rest of Vox Machina attempt to open a locked door.

Scanlan tries to use his bardic magic, Keyleth attempts to melt the lock, and Pike detects no magical elements to the lock, until Vax finally uses a toothpick from Grog’s sandwich to pick the lock and open the door. As Critters know, doors are an infamous obstacle for Vox Machina, and the other Critical Role adventuring parties, almost always tripping them up in truly ridiculous ways.

The first two episodes of the Legend Of Vox Machina will be set prior to Critical Role’s first live stream. Following this the series will adapt the Briarwood arc from the first campaign’s livestream.

It has since grown into its own multimedia production company, Critical Role Productions LLC, with not only the tentpole livestream, but tons of other shows on their Twitch and YouTube channels. Critical Role has also expanded into merchandising, collectibles, graphic novels, their first novel Kith & Kin, as well as the highly anticipated animated series The Legend Of Vox Machina.
