It looks like the Coronavirus continues to strike at the hearts of big business. Hasbro, the owner of beloved properties such as Transformers, GI Joe, and Power Rangers, has announced a shutdown of their office due to their concerns about the pandemic.

Julie Duffy, a spokeswoman for the business, relayed the news to the Providence Journal, a local Rhode Island newspaper. She told the paper that Hasbro offices on both a local and international level would be closed until April 1st.
Hasbro Exercising Precautions
Plenty of companies have been taking similar preventative measures to ensure that the spread of the Coronavirus remains as contained as possible. Some companies are allowing employees to work from home, but the famed toy brand decided to just shut down their offices for the rest of the month.
Comicbook.com shared the email statement which announced the decision.
“At this time, no Hasbro employees have tested positive for COVID-19. We have made this decision in an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our employees and the communities in which we operate.”
Hasbro follows the continuing direction of other companies halting production and shutting down to prevent the Coronavirus from spreading. Hasbro also started the process of auditioning for the next season of Power Rangers. Though hasn’t been announced yet, chances are that they will halt the audition process as well until things calm down.
