The longtime anime entertainment brand, Funimation, is officially coming to an end. Due to parent company Sony Pictures Entertainment’s past acquisition of Crunchyroll and a unification of fan services that was first announced in March 2022, the Funimation app and website will officially come to an end on April 2, 2024. That means the Funimation brand as we know it will be officially over.
North American viewers are in luck as the upcoming NA theatrical release date has finally been confirmed for Spy x Family Code: White. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced this week that the film is due out for a North American theatrical release, both subbed and dubbed, later this April.
