The Mandalorian just wrapped up a successful first season as the flagship show of Disney+. Before Baby Yoda settled down for a nap, creator Jon Favreau confirmed the show would be back for another go-around.
Favreau did not provide an exact premiere date for The Mandalorian Season 2, but he did say it would be in the Fall of 2020. His tweet can be seen below:
The Mandalorian Keeps On Giving
The finale episode, which was heralded by fans and critics alike as ultimately satisfying (unlike certain other Star Wars properties), had plenty of Easter Eggs for fans. Not only did Pedro Pascal get to show off his long-awaited face, but the series villain Moff Gideon even suggested a potential connection to Star Wars Rebels. Overall, there were plenty of reasons to keep the show going.
Theories for the second season of The Mandalorian will have to keep up going for the next ten months, along with continuous Baby Yoda memes. But Disney+ is far from done, with original content and classic films dropping throughout 2020. The Falcon and The Winter will also come in the second half of the year, which is certain to be a busy time for the streaming platform.
