Due to the present coronavirus situation, many currently filming movies and TV show productions came to a sudden halt. The post-production on the new Bruce Willis-led movie Cosmic Sin also was suspended, but not before the production could add three new cast members, according to Deadline.
Cosmic SIn is an action movie about a group of warriors and scientists who must fight to protect humans from hostile alien species with the power to infect and take over human hosts. It’s directed and written by Edward Drake (Anti-Life), while co-written and produced by Corey Large (It Follows), with Stephen Eads and Matthew Helderman as executive producers.
Cosmic Sin’s New Additions
The new casting includes Frank Grillo (Captain America The Winter Soldier), Adelaide Kane (The Purge) and Luke Wilson (Zombieland: Double Tap). Their roles are not revealed yet. The film already includes a supporting cast featuring Lochlyn Munro (Riverdale), Brandon Thomas Lee (Sierra Burgess Is A Loser), Johnny Messner (Running Scared), Eva De Dominici (You Shall Not Sleep), Corey Large (Lone Survivor), and WWE superstar Lana/CJ Perry.
Bruce Willis is known for his action movie resume. While Frank Grillo is an action star too and has experience in fighting with aliens in his past movies, casting him is always a good call.
The premise of this movie is not new, but if it delivers cool visuals and good action scenes it can turn out to be a fun action flick. Recently Lana shared a first look at her character and a picture taken along with Bruce Willis to her Instagram page. We can see the actors wearing an armored suit in the picture.
