The Miz and Buddy Murphy among others are out, but Cesaro and Asuka are back on the WrestleMania card.
In a torrent of news regarding WrestleMania and the coronavirus it’s hard to know what is real and what isn’t. Rey Mysterio and Dana Brooke are both off the card as was reported earlier. However, the latest news is that Roman Reigns is out because of concerns with him being immunocompromised because of his leukemia. Reigns getting coronavirus would be very bad.
WrestlingInc is reporting that once Reigns pulled out of WrestleMania WWE found a last minute replacement in the form of Braun Strowman. The match has reportedly already been taped and a lead-up will be shown on Smackdown Live.

Also, Andrade is off the Wrestleania card. He suffered a rib injury and it was severe enough to take him off the card. What is funny about these two developments which are being widely reported by reliable sources is that the actual WrestleMania card does not reflect these match changes.
Miz Is Sick But Morrison Is Still In
As of today the list of Superstars missing the PPV continues to grow. Smackdown Live Tag Team Champion Miz is off the card due to him being sick. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer mentioned Reigns will miss because Miz is sick and the Usos were upset that Miz was spreading his germs at the Performance Center.

The Tag Champions were supposed to defend their titles against either The Usos or The New Day. However, WWE was able to salvage the match by reportedly making a match with the other half of the Tag Champions, John Morrison. Morrison will now face one of The Usos in a ladder match. This has not been added to the card yet because of kayfabe. We will see how this works in the storyline as it is a sudden shift.
Buddy Murphy Won’t Have Rollins’ Back At WrestleMania
Miz isn’t the only last minute withdrawal from the card. Murphy of Seth Rollins’ band of cronies is also off to see the quarantine wizard. Our favorite red head is sick as well and WWE isn’t taking any chances. He was not at the Raw or the WrestleMania tapings. Murphy was not on the WrestleMania card, but was expected to do a run-in or help Rollins in some way with his match against Kevin Owens.
Asuka And Cesaro Were Out But That Was Fake News
However, some good news has come out of all this news overload. It was widely reported that Asuka and Cesaro were going to miss WrestleMania and were going to be “out of action,” but that rumor was shot down by Meltzer. Meltzer said they wrestled at the WrestleMania tapings and don’t currently have any health issues.
I want to make it perfectly clear that Miz and Murphy are ill, but it doesn’t mean they have coronavirus. It’s hard to believe right now in the world, but sometimes people get sick from other things. We just need to get past WrestleMania and then everything will get back to normal is what I keep telling myself.
