The signals point to Jason possibly being the leader of Grid Battleforce in Power Rangers Beast Morphers.
According to our sources, the upcoming Hasbro Power Rangers Live Show is looking for someone between the ages of 18 and 28 to play Jason. This could potentially mean that the version of Jason we see in the live show could be more akin to the Boom! comics version of the character.

Jason is described as a fit martial artist. A leader, head of the academy of Rangers and cadets, he excels at inspiring and uniting both.
It’s important to point out that even though it seems that the Jason we see in the live show seems to be a younger version of the character, I still believe that certain plot points of the live show could bleed into the series somehow.
Did somebody say an academy of Rangers and cadets? That sounds awfully similar to Grid Battleforce in Power Rangers Beast Morphers. So it’s possible that Jason was the head of Grid Battleforce all along…
The Leader of Grid Battleforce This Whole Time?
Jason being the leader of Grid Battleforce just makes sense. It would explain their ability to create Ranger powers using Morph-X coming from the Morphin Grid.
I should point this out because I’m sure someone will bring this up. The description of the live show could also be describing his involvement in SPD, as the description also fits that organization. However, I don’t think this is as likely, because if that were true it would have been touched upon in either Power Rangers SPD or Power Rangers Soul of the Dragon.
Jason being the head of Grid Battleforce is far more likely, because while we have met characters such as, Commander Shaw and General Burke. We have never found out the exact person who started the whole operation.
It’s also interesting to point out that Grid Battleforce was founded in order to manufacture house, control, and protect this precious energy source known as Morph-X. Morph-X is of course known as the source of power that comes from the Morphin Grid. It would take someone with some pretty extensive knowledge about the Morphin Grid to be able to pull this off. And I think Jason just might have been their guy.
Do you guys think that Jason could have potentially been the head of Grid Battleforce all this time? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to come back to The Illuminerdi for more Power Rangers news and updates just like this in the future!
