With the Beast Morphers Dino team-up getting closer and closer as we get through the year, a constant question has been “Will there be more returning rangers in the crossover?” While it may still be possible for some actors to return for voice-over roles, it does not seem that Dino Charge‘s Claire Blackwelder will be one of them.
When The Illuminerdi’s own Jezzer asked Blackwelder if she was approached to return for the crossover, she stated the following:
I was not, no, I’ve never been approached about returning. I would love to if for no other reason than to just say hello to the crew. I love everybody there.
This definitely is not good news for Power Rangers fans, as Blackwelder’s character was a fan favorite in her season. Even it was just a voice-over role, it surely would have been enough to please fans who want Kendall appear once again. It doesn’t look like it will be the case for this season, however.
Other Chances For Claire Blackwelder to Reprise Her Role
While it doesn’t seem like Claire Blackwelder will get a chance to return for Power Rangers Beast Morphers, there are a few other opportunities for which she could possibly return.
When recently reported that Blackwelder was enthusiastic about possibly returning for the upcoming Power Rangers Live Show that has Kendall as a featured character. It doesn’t seem likely that this would be the case however due to it seeming that Hasbro is casting someone else for the role. It definitely would be cool to see, though.
Another opportunity for Blackwelder to return could be in the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Fury. In the Sentai version of that season, they had various previous Masters Rangers that showed up periodically throughout the show. It could be possible for Blackwelder to return for a role such as Master Pink or even to somehow reprise her role from Dino Charge.
