The Walt Disney Investor’s Meeting just blew the collective minds of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe in a big, big way. Not only were six new Disney+ shows announced to be in development, along with the MCU’s take on the Fantastic Four, four brand new MCU trailers debuted one right after the other.
WandaVision released its second full trailer with just over a month to go until its debut on Disney+, and Kevin Feige released the very first full trailers for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and the animated What If…?. All of these properties look absolutely stunning, and it’s being proven already that they’re being given the same love and care as the MCU movies that they will tie in so closely with.
MCU Trailers for Disney+
Without further ado, here are the breakdowns for all four of the new MCU trailers for shows coming to Disney+!
WANDAVISION TRAILER #2
This trailer did its job and so much more to hype up WandaVision, with nearly every frame of footage coming for the first time. The main difference between this one and the one from the Emmys is that it teased things not being exactly as they seem, even in a completely new reality created by Wanda Maximoff.
Set to the classic 1968 Monkee’s hit “Daydream Believer,” Wanda and Vision are shown once again through the multiple eras of television and Wanda is showing off the best of her powers. She joins their beds together into one, moves objects in the house at will, and it looks as easy as ever for the Scarlet Witch.
The interesting thing about this trailer is how often the scenery seems to blink, flicker, and go out of whack. Maybe its just me, but my impression is that it appears Wanda may not be completely in control of her own realities she’s created for herself and Vision. Especially with the way the two agree to fight for their world near the end, there’s clearly a major battle set to happen as this series comes to a close.

The new MCU trailer also gives us a more in depth look at Teyonnah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, who appears to not know anything of what’s happening around her. Fans are already excited to see how this show introduces her as she works her way to being a fully-formed superhero for her future MCU appearances.
We also get our first look at Kat Dennings’ Darcy Lewis right in the middle of the madness alongside Randall Park’s Jimmy Woo, and then one of the most telling shots comes at the end with Wanda destroying another version of the Mind Stone. With Vision and the Stone both destroyed as of the end of Avengers: Infinity War, one of the biggest mysteries to solve will be how they both return in this series amongst all the other madness.
Safe to say, this new MCU trailer did its job teasing more of the story and getting fans even more excited than ever. WandaVision will officially begin streaming on Disney+ weekly on January 15.
THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER TRAILER #1
At long last, more footage has finally arrived for Marvel and Disney+’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier! This is the first new footage since the Super Bowl trailer, which only showed a couple images of Falcon training with the Captain America shield, some bullets falling in front of Helmut Zemo and the short tease for US Agent at a football game.
Starting off with some classic images of Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, Falcon explains how complicated the legacy of his shield is as he appears to ponder the promotion bestowed upon him. Bucky convinces him of how the world needs a symbol as they travel the world together and seek out their next challenge as a duo.
We see footage of Daniel Brühl’s Helmut Zemo in what looks like the ruins of Sokovia before Bucky drops a handful of bullets in front of him, the shot of US Agent at the football game again, and plenty of new footage to make fans go bonkers. Sam and Bucky show off their best moves in the air and on the ground in a series that looks like it’s made with the same exact quality as any of the Captain America movies, and it looks guaranteed to come as an exciting action-filled series.

Along with the classic quips that come from the Sam and Bucky duo, this new MCU trailer provides plenty of Easter Eggs coming from the Captain America saga in the MCU thus far. Sam jumping out of the plane a la Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Bucky returning the “I hate you” sentiment from Captain America: Civil War and more.
The trailer also gives our first look at the newly introduced Flag-Smashers, who could very potentially serve as the big villains of this series. All of this comes before the incredible flying sequence for Falcon as the title card comes, and the stage has been set for a major new adventure arriving on Disney+.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will officially debut on Disney+ on March 19, 2021.
