The Falcon and The Winter Soldier may have just given away some of its game.
The wait for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s epic return is finally over thanks to the Disney+ release of WandaVision this weekend. This will kick off a streak in 2021 where nearly every week of the year will include new marvel content between the theatrical releases and the Disney+ series.
After WandaVision ends its run, The Falcon and the Winter Solider will premiere two weeks later. Coming as more of a direct sequel to the end of Avengers: Endgame, this show will catch up with Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes as they take on new challenges in a journey across the world.

One of the most important plot points in this show will be Sam Wilson’s evolution into Captain America as he takes over the mantle from Steve Rogers. This includes a potential wardrobe update though the course of the show, which could be for any number of reasons, and it should help solidify Wilson even further as one of the core members of the Avengers.
How A Falcon Gets Its Wings
In light of this fact, a new leak has just potentially shown what the winged pararescue soldier may look like as the series comes to a close.
A Korean toy safety company just leaked an image of what appears to be official merchandise for Disney+ and Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, from Hasbro’s Titan Hero Series line. The toy shows Falcon in a new blue and white suit and has “Captain America” on the side of the box, possibly indicating that not only will this be Sam’s final suit, he will also officially take on the superhero mantle by the end of this series.
This leak shouldn’t be taken as gospel, but it does look about as close to authentic as it can look without coming straight from Marvel. This show should provide a deeper look into Sam Wilson and his superhero life than any of his previous appearances in the MCU, especially since this is his first time as a headliner since he debuted in 2014.
With the show being six episodes long, fans shouldn’t expect any major reveals like this for at least the first couple of weeks, but it will surely be something to look out for through the course of the series. Falcon’s journey into taking on the Captain America mantle will be the biggest challenge he has ever faced, and it will be so fun to see how he adjusts to that alongside his partner-in-crime, Bucky Barnes.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will premiere on Disney+ on March 19, 2021. What do you think of the toy leak? Let us know in the comment section below or over on our social media!
