Tik-Tok star Jordon Fite was announced to play the Aiyon, the Dino Fury Gold Ranger, in the current edition of the show, Power Rangers Dino Fury.
This was previously reported by The Illuminerdi back in September but has now been confirmed by Hasbro at the Fan Fest event today.

Something really cool about Jordon Fite is the fact that he is not only the first African American actor to play the Gold Ranger, but he is also the first African American actor to play a Sixth Ranger period.
When asked in an interview with CNET, Jordon Fite and the following to say about the title:
“It’s already an honor being a part of this great franchise! But to be the first African American sixth Ranger is beyond a privilege, I’m truly humbled. When Ranger Nation first told me this, I had to just take a moment to myself and realize what I’ve accomplished and just how big, and important this is! My feelings were and still are all over the place!!
I’m so grateful for everyone who’s blazed the path before me and helped to make this possible for me. This is just such a deep honor. I can’t wait for boys and girls who look like me to see me, the Gold Ranger, and realize that anything is possible! They can go after their dreams and make them happen! I hope to be a role model for them, and to help continue opening more doors and helping lead the way for everyone.”
Jordon Fite Adds To The Fury In Dino Fury
Fite’s character, Aiyon, will be joining the team following the Green and Black Rangers, who just joined the show a couple of weeks ago.
The character’s name is interesting because it seems alien-like as opposed to most of the other Rangers who are from Earth. This is because Aiyon is from the planet Rafkon, which is the planet the Red Ranger is from.
I am personally intrigued with the fact the Gold Ranger is from the planet Rafkon, and I cannot wait to see what they do with this as the show goes forward.
