After years of development, Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi is finally filming for Disney+. We have received quite a bit of casting information for the series, however, besides the returning characters we didn’t really know any information about these new characters.
Now, with set photos coming out from Obi-Wan we may have an idea of who Game of Thrones alum, Indira Varma may be playing.
Indira Varma Joins The Empire In Obi-Wan Kenobi
According to these set images it seems that Indira Varma will be portraying an Imperial Officer in Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi.
We had previously seen set photos of a female Imperial Officer on the set of Obi-Wan. However, with the blurry nature of the photo and since the actress was wearing a face mask, we couldn’t tell who she was.
Now, it seems pretty clear that the Imperial Officer will be played by Indira Varma, indicating that the Empire will play a major role in Obi-Wan Kenobi, as expected.
Obi-Wan Kenobi stars Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
