Ladies and gentlemen get ready, DC is going head to head with Marvel in a race to deliver a massive multiverse experience on the big screen. Of course, there’s no one faster than the Flash himself, who is currently in the lead as DC just unveiled a teaser for Andy Muschietti’s upcoming The Flash film among many surprises revealed at the DC FanDome.
The Flash is one of the most anticipated movies of 2022, and probably DC’s biggest movie to date, it may very likely restructure DC’s Extended Universe going forward. The movie will be inspired by the famous Flashpoint saga from the comics where Barry Allen/Flash traveled back in time to save his mother from a horrific death. This time around, we will see Ezra Miller’s Flash run through the Multiverse and meet various characters, old and new.

The Flash walks a bridge connecting all existing, potential, and future DC projects, we get to see the return of Michael Keaton’s Batman as well as the arrival of a newcomer, Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, plus, so much more. It’s also worth mentioning that Ezra Miller will be playing two versions of The Flash, with one being possibly villainous or a version of Reverse Flash. I don’t know how they’re pulling that off but I can’t wait to see it.
Will we see The Justice League Show Up in The Flash?
Ben Affleck’s Batman will also be returning, and according to rumors, he won’t be the only other Justice Leaguer showing up. If the hype surrounding DC FanDome was not enough, Barbara Muschietti made sure there’s more than enough. Barbara Muschietti recently took to Instagram to provide an update regarding the status of The Flash‘s production.
In the caption, she hypes up the DC FanDome event in Spanish and gave a subtle tease about a surprise the team has prepared for eager viewers. In the comments section, an enthusiastic fan expressed his hopes and expectations to see Henry Cavill’s Superman in the film. She shocked eagle-eyed fans by liking the comment in a move that many saw to be a confirmation. Take a look at a video breaking down what happened below:
It’s also speculated that we’ll see Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa’s Aquaman make appearances as well, if those turn out to be true, hopefully, that means there will be another Justice League film down the line.
