Eternals Celebrates Digital Release With New Deleted Scene

In celebration of Eternals release on Disney+, check out one of the new released deleted scenes.

Eternals is one of those films that’s really interesting. Quite a bit of the film was cut in post-production, as exampled with a deleted scene below. And it wasn’t necessarily cut for the better.

The film’s sported a 48% on Rotten Tomatoes, the first film in the entire MCU with a “Rotten” score. It’s received a “B” grade on CinemaScore – and while that may seem good at first glance, it’s not. Due to the film’s negative criticism on social media from critics, the box office underperformed to a degree much lower than Hollywood’s original projections.

On opening weekend, the film made $71M domestically. Overall, the film’s domestic run has been $164 million with an international take of $237 million. Worldwide Eternals has just peaked $401 million. That being said, it also has its fair share of fans who are excited to learn more about the individual heroes that make up the story. Now that the film has arrived on Disney+, it’s available for anyone who didn’t venture to the movie theaters. Audiences can choose the regular widescreen format or the IMAX Enhanced one at no extra cost.
