To help celebrate Spidey’s most significant achievements, Sony Pictures has released the final draft of No Way Home, penned by veteran scriptwriters Erick Sommers and Chris McKenna. Fans can access and download the final script via Deadline’s website.
The final draft itself has one hundred and eighty-two pages. It also appears that the screenplay was titled “Serenity Now” for the purposes of preserving its secret contents, ensuring that spoilers from the film would leak out as little as possible. As the film is currently being considered for a best picture nomination ahead of the Academy Awards, it is being made available for educational purposes.Â
Spider-Man: No Way Home will forever be cherished among fans and audiences worldwide, making history by having past Spider-Man characters and actors from different studios – Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios – crossover. Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman, Rhys Ifans’ The Lizard, and Jaime Foxx’s Electro all came together in the film to become even more iconic than they were previously.
We also have to include Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock, even if his Venom only made a small cameo. Along with J.K Simmons’s return as J. Jonah Jameson, who hailed from Raimi’s trilogy, and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil from the Netflix adaptation, the melting pot of universes makes No Way Home a touching tribute to Spider-Man and his fans worldwide.
