Cobra Kai Season 5

Cobra Kai begins its takeover of the Valley in the new teaser for Season 5.

After winning the All-Valley Karate Tournament, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) has begun his takeover of the valley by expanding Cobra Kai to numerous locations. Knowing the depravity of Silver’s mind, Danny LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) has taken it upon himself to stop Silver from putting children in harm’s way and teaching them toxic qualities. To help him Danel has brought in help from another Miyagi-do Master, Chozen Toguchi (Yuki Okumoto). Meanwhile, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Robbie (Tanner Buchanan) are in Mexico searching for Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) to bring him back home.

Season 5 looks to be filled with the action, drama, comedy, and heart that has made the show a staple in so many homes and water cooler discussions. After the events of Season 4, Silver’s plan looks to have been thoroughly successful and his takeover of the Valley with numerous dojos is essentially complete. However, where did he get masters for these new dojos? He outed Kreese, and it’s not like they had anyone else on the payroll. I don’t think any of the students were ready to begin teaching. Plus is Miguel really in Mexico doing cage matches? So many questions arise from this teaser.
