Digimon Survive releasing with Limited Time Guilmon DLC

Digimon Survive

Digimon Survive is finally being released on Friday with a special release bonus content included. This bonus content includes a Guilmon and HP Support Equipment as part of the launch release. However, there is some concern on how exactly how to obtain this content if you are a PC player. To ensure there is no confusion and worry, here is how to get the exclusive DLC for Digimon Survive before it’s too late.

Digimon Survive is a long-awaited visual novel and Strategy RPG, which takes players into an original Digital adventure with new characters. The story takes place with 8 Tamers that must survive in a mysterious and strange new world filled with dangerous monsters. Each Tamer is joined by a Partner Digimon, however, the choices made will determine the direction of the story and whether each character will survive the hurdles that they before them.

The Limited-run DLC For Digimon Survive

Downloadable content (DLC) was revealed for those who purchase the game within the first month of release. However, it has also been revealed by Bandai Namco that PC gamers will also be able to obtain the DLC too. The physical copy of the game will automatically include the DLC containing both Guilmon as a playable character for combat and an HP Support Equipment, which will likely work as a healing item. Thankfully, the release of the DLC will be available as a digital lunch DLC and will be available on any platform until the end of the time limit.

The confusion of the DLC is caused by the release of Digimon Survive in different countries. Therefore, it has caused panic for some fans of the Digimon franchise, who don’t want to miss the opportunity to get any additional content that will enhance their experience and gameplay. The US copies of the physical game will have the DLC included in the box while stocks last, while the Digital copy of the game on Steam will have the DLC available within the first month.

It’s great that platforms aren’t made to suffer from exclusive content to a specific platform, allowing all fans to enjoy the game no matter what they prefer. Guilmon is also a fan-favorite Digimon that first appeared in Digimon Tamers (Season 3). It would have been a horrible fate if fans weren’t able to obtain this iconic Digimon. It is expected that a new DLC may be coming for the game, but the release is all that everyone has in mind.

The best addition that could be included as DLC would most interesting would be Digimon Ghost Game’s Gammamon, Angoramon, and Jellymon, due to their current popularity in the anime series. The European release of the game will include the DLC as a Digital download within the first month, so make sure you check your retailer depending on location.

Steam has yet to release the page of the upcoming game but will likely appear on the release date, with the DLC as a free Digital Download during the event period. The Guilmon and HP Support Equipment will only be available from the 29th of July till the 30th of August, so make sure you get the game and claim before the deadline.

Long time fan of Tokusatsu fan since Power Rangers was first released in the 90s. Whereas most Superhero fans grew up with DC Comics and Marvel, my childhood was surrounded by releases from Saban Entertainment such as Beetleborgs, along with anime, and other various fads of the generation. Anime is also a great passion with Digimon, That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime, and Demon Slayer being significant favorites. It was the love of both Power Rangers and Digimon that led to the path of becoming a Senior Writer for The Illuminerdi.
