Ohsama Sentai KingOhger was revealed to be the 47th Super Sentai series when the license and copyright were filed. Rumors regarding the new Ranger team have included the possibility of themes such as insects, non-sword-wielding Knights, and the royalty theme that is suggested in the name. The new sentai will succeed Avataro Sentai Donbrothers in 2023, but fans are awaiting the first listings, images, and previews from new Sentai shows that appear at the last quarter of the year. Not much has been confirmed for the new Ranger team for the franchise, however, rumors begin to appear closer to release that have a greater chance of being true.
New Rumours Teasing KingOhger’s Possible Gimmick and Ranger Designs
New possible concepts have been spread on social media regarding the gimmick and Ranger designs for the new Super Sentai series. The gimmick of a Ranger team is usually an item that can be used on all releases, including the Changer, weapons, and sometimes the Zords and Robo. Latest information from Rangerboard has suggested that the new gimmick for KingOhger could be medals for the transformation item. This concept may be familiar to fans who enjoy Tokusatsu shows such as Kamen Rider OOO and B-Fighter Kabuto. Here is the rumor released by Dukemon on Rangerboard regarding the 47th Sentai gimmick.

This includes the possibility that the show could start with 6 Rangers instead of 5 and may also combine a theme of Insect and Machine. This rumor comes from Ironheng Toy and Collection Store, which has posted on their Facebook page regarding the new Ranger team. Various Sentai fans have been sharing the posts from the store since they previously found information about many releases before they were revealed, such as the Don Murasame version of Don Onitaijin. Here is the rumor regarding the new team of Rangers and what colours they may be.
Rumours are starting to suggest that the knight theme that differs with various weapons other than swords may not be used. The common consensus regarding the 47th Sentai team is that Insects will be part of the core design. The colors listed also may break the mould of regular mixes used by a Ranger team and it will be interesting to see a purple Ranger as part of the core team. It will also be fantastic to have medals as the new collectible gimmick, especially since it lists their possible use of being used as bullets.

The rumoured mix of medals, Insects, and Royalty will make a unique Sentai Ranger series that fans will be refreshed by, especially since insect and royalty themes seem to be a very compatible combination. The first listing for the 47th Sentai team are expected to be discovered at the start of November but fans will have to wait until December before any preview images and confirmations are finally shared. Till this time, fans will have to wait and will continue to be teased while Donbrothers is still airing.
