The official poster for Ohsama Sentai KingOhger has just been unleashed online for Super Sentai fans to see for the first time. This includes all 5 Rangers of the 47th Ranger team, along with a small preview of the Weapons and the Robo for the show. The image originates from a poster by SentaiFive but originates from 5ch, who was able to obtain the first official full preview and showcase various elements of the 2023 series. This includes the official logo of the team and minor features yet to be revealed.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger has been a hot topic for Super Sentai fans and Ranger forums, with rumors posted leading up to the official reveal. The only official image released for the 47th Super Sentai team was a silhouette teaser found in TV-Kun magazine. This teaser revealed the outlines of the Rangers but didn’t reveal anything else for the new team, but a toy leaker was able to share his finds regarding what the Ranger team will look like, their upcoming releases, and the prices for the 1st toy wave. The new show will air after the finale of Avataro Sentai Donbrothers, the 46th Super Sentai series.

The poster for the Ranger team showcases all 5 Rangers with confirmations for their motifs, appearance, and various features. The poster also includes their Sword-based Changer and a partial look at the main Robo of the 47th Sentai. The image was obtained by 5ch and was shared on social media by Sentai fans around the world. Here is the first look at the new Ohsama Sentai KingOhger series featured in the first poster of the show.

It’s amazing how many rumors have been debunked by the official reveal, including the different-colored armor. However, we now can see the Rangers and the motifs they each possess. This includes the hope that the Black Ranger would be a Bee as initially mentioned by the toy leaker. The detailing on both the Swords and Megazord are so defined that it would not be surprising if the toys are unable to fully incorporate the level seen. The Rangers and posts that can be confirmed regarding toy leaker and rumor information include the following.
- Red Male Stag Beetle Ranger
- Male Blue Dragonfly Ranger
- Male Black Bee/Wasp Ranger
- Female Yellow Mantis Ranger
- Female Purple Butterfly Ranger
- Megazord of series currently seen as comprised of the following;
- Stag Beetle on Chest/Body
- Spider on Chest
- Dragonfly for Back wings and Sword Blade
- Spider/Ant for Sword hilt
The Rangers seen in the silhouette teaser have done a fantastic job of confusing fans for the Black, Purple, and Yellow Rangers. This is due to the initial shape being interpreted incorrectly, however, the full body armor look is stunning and makes them all look naturally tough. The detail is most surface textures but the armors and details are perfectly balanced, and the unified color is going to make this a fan-favored suit set. The details have been focused on the Swords and Megazord, which creates a unique aesthetic with the superficial Ranger suits.

The Purple Ranger stands out due to the unusual color choice for one of the main team members, but the Yellow and Black Rangers stand out most for their use of details and motif spread design in their helmets. A preview of a form of headquarters has also been placed in the background but there aren’t any mentioned regarding its name or purpose yet. Each Ranger has been designed to look perfect as a team but the use of shapes for the helmet’s mouthpiece and the visor keeps each Ranger looking unique.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger will be releasing more details regarding the debut of the show as the end of 2022 draws near. The show will be the 2023 Super Sentai series, with more releases expected as the week progresses. The next expected official release is expected to be the 1st quarter catalog, with the release date to follow.
