The new video game release is set in an alternative universe version of the Soviet Union in 1955. Science and technology have become the main pillars of the society in the world of Atomic Heart. In the game, players take the of a Major P-3 who has to find out about the forces that are behind the utopian dream in the world of the game.

Atomic Heart features a world of rebelled robots, giant machines, and bloodthirsty mutant creatures. Players will face all of them as obstacles over the course of their top-secret mission on the road to completion. They will search to uncover the secrets hidden in the depths of Facility 3826. Mundfish is promising that players will find the truth that will be paid in blood, as the Utopian dream in this game’s alternate future is not what it seems.

Thus far, the game looks impressive. And it looks like the answer for fans of titles such as BioShock who have been waiting for another game with an in-depth narrative and deep sci-fi elements. The graphics look impressive, and it looks like there is a lot of depth to the gameplay. The setting looks very unique and striking, and the robotic cyborgs look very creepy and unsettling. It also looks like it has a deep, classical sci-fi narrative, more akin to sci-fi literature.

In the course of the game, players will face off against the global Kollektiv Neural Network, which connects all the flying and ground robots on the surface and in underground complexes to a single network. If one robot spots the player, then reinforcements will arrive at the nearest Auto Factory to kill them. So, players will have to be on their guard and utilize hacking methods in order to avoid raising the alarm.

It also looks like the game has a fun, colorful cast of characters that players will encounter over the course of their gameplay experience. The machine gun-toting granny who helps out the player looks like she will be a screen-stealer for the gameplay experience.

It looks like there is quite a lot of depth to the combat. Besides guns, it appears players can also wield some type of extrasensory abilities, or perhaps abilities generated by equipment the Major is using. It also looks like there is some interesting-looking melee combat for this release and some level of driving mechanics.

Overall, this is an interesting-looking game, and it will be interesting to see if it meets players’ expectations. Atomic Heart has officially hit the shelves as of today. The game is available as a multi-platform release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Do you think this will be a breakout hit and a potential Game of the Year title, or is it getting over-hyped? Let us know what you think in the comments and on The Illuminerdi Twitter account.
