New Avataro Sentai Donbrothers Memorial Edition releases are revealed to include the Zanglass Sword and the Noto Brace. The main weapon belonging to Don Momotaro will be released as part of the Memorial Edition line, with the Don Blaster as part of the Memorial Edition line-up. The Noto Brace has also been revealed as an upcoming release and will include all 6 plates of the warriors seen in the series. Zenkaizer Black will also be getting a special release, with all revealed releases coming with various features, including music from the series and lines from the iconic cast.
Avataro Sentai Donbrothers was the incredible 46th Super Sentai series, which included a mix of designs and lore with motifs based on the folklore of Momotaro. The series concluded with 50 episodes and recently released a crossover special movie with its predecessor, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. Memorial Edition releases were already revealed for the series as the main Changer, the Don Blaster, will be released in November this year. The Don Blaster included a visor-inspired design that allowed for Avataro Gears to be inserted, like the gear gimmick featured in the 45th anniversary Sentai series.

The rest of the arsenal for the series included a reliance on Avataro gears to activate abilities and forms, which the Additional Ranger also used to become Don Doragokuu or Don Torabolt. The unique series also featured villains known as the Noto, with the generals able to transform into a warrior form. The first three Noto generals, Sonoi, Sononi, and Sonoza, became allies to the Ranger series closer to the end of the series, but three late additions were introduced as the story progressed.
Donbrothers Memorial Edition Line-Up
The revealed Memorial Edition releases from Premium Bandai for Avataro Sentai Donbrothers currently consist of the Don Blaster, Don Momotaro’s Zanglass Sword, and the Noto Brace. In addition to these releases, Zenkaizer Black’s Geartlinger was also included in the line-up as the alternate version of Kaito helps the new Ranger series and also appears in the crossover special, Avataro Sentai DonBrothers VS Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. The new items were all released as part of the Commercialization Project as the sales points cross each line featured as Kibi-points, with the Memorial Geartlinger – Master Kaito Ver as the first reveal.
Zanglass Sword Memorial Edition (3rd Kibi-Point Line)
The main weapon belonging to Don Momotaro is being unleashed as the Zanglass Sword joins the Memorial Edition line. The Memorial Edition features spectacular and improved LED lighting effects, lines from the cast, removal of screw holes, and a 140% size increase compared to the DX toy release. The Memorial Edition also marks the first use of infrared interlocking as the Zanglass Sword and Don Blaster from the line can interact like the original toy. The Zanglass Sword Memorial Edition will also include exclusive attack sounds from existing gears including legendary special moves with Ryusoulger gear and more.
This will be the perfect Memorial Edition release for fans who cosplay as Don Momotaro, plus for fans that love weapons from the Super Sentai series. Gokaiger’s Gokai Saber and Gokai Gun were recently released from the Memorial Edition lines but the gimmick of interacting between the Don Blaster and Zanglass Sword is impossible to resist.

It will be incredible to wield both Memorial Edition releases from Donbrothers, especially as fans will be able to use the same roleplay gimmicks that were witnessed in the TV series. It will be hard to get one release without the other, especially as the same gimmick will likely be added for the other releases expected in the series, including the weapons belonging to Don Doragokuu and Don Torabolt.
DX Memorial Noto Brace Set (2nd Kibi-Point Line)
The Memorial Noto Brace Set is part of the line-up but is only like a Memorial Edition release. The Noto Brace previously released only included three emblems, but this new release of the Noto Brace set features clear versions of Sonoi, Sononoi, and Sonoza’s emblems, dialogue from the Noto, and emblems for Sonoshi, Sonogo, and Sonoroku. The release will also include two voice units and two bracelet bands in the set, which will include lines from all 7 Noto General featured throughout the series.
The Noto generals were a major addition to the series as villains as they added a whole new layer to the story. Their presence and transformation sequence became a core feature of the series, especially as Sonoi, Sononi, and Sonoza changed their allegiance.

It’s fantastic that fans will also be able to obtain the emblems and lines for Sonoshi (Tomoki Hirose), Sonogo (Mana Takai), and Sonoroku (Shin Koyanagi) too as these late additions that made a massive impact on the series. The inclusion of the final Noto introduced, Sonona (Natsumi Shinohara) and Sonoya (Kohei Murakami), as they made a finale to remember during their first and only episode as characters portrayed by renowned Tokusatsu actors.
Memorial Geartlinger – Master Kaito Ver (1st Kibi-Point Line)
The Geartlinger featured in Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger has been rereleased with lines and sounds relating to the Kaito featured in Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. The alternate version of Kaito was able to transform into Zenkaizer Black and will be getting a separate Memorial Edition release, including his gear. The release will also include 4 BGM songs from Donbrothers and will include a Photobook-style bromide, which is the commercial photographic portraits of Kaito seen in various episodes.
This release will be a highly valuable Memorial Edition release for fans of Donbrothers’ Kaito. However, the features are minimal compared to the original Memorial Edition version for Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. There are many iconic moments featuring the cafe owner that supports the new team of heroes, including acting as the admin for the kibi-points earned by each member.
This is a perfect item for fans that love Kaito and his iconic variant, especially with the photographic portraits that include scenes from the series.

All these releases are vital treasures that fans of Donbrothers will want to obtain while they still can. There are still some characters that have yet to be given the memorial edition treatment from the 46th Sentai series, but they are expected to be introduced soon. This includes Don Doragokuu’s Ryukonogeki and Tigerdora, and Don Musasame’s Ninjark Sword. Considering the popularity of the Memorial Edition releases for Donbrothers, it makes sense that these will be a follow-up to the releases currently revealed.
More announcements for the line are expected as one more reveal could be reached in the Commercialization Project when enough points are gained.
Donbrothers Memorial Geartlinger – Master Kaito Ver is scheduled for release in October 2023 in Japan. The DX Memorial Noto Brace Set is scheduled for release in December 2023. Pre-orders for all revealed Premium Bandai releases are currently live at popular Tokusatsu stores.
The Donbrothers Zanglass Sword Memorial Edition is scheduled for release on January 31, 2024. The Don Blaster Memorial Edition previously revealed in the line-up will be released in November 2023. More announcements regarding exact release dates will be revealed closer to the scheduled release.
