Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce #1 previews have been unleashed by Boom! Studios. Featuring a story envisioned by Meghan Camarena and the first image of Battlizer Mode.
Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce #1

The first preview for Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce #1 has been unleashed revealing the continuation of the team and the first-ever visual debut of the Pink Battle Warrior mode. Preview pages were revealed by Boom! Studios as the upcoming graphic novels reveal the Hyperforce team and the divide caused by the altered Timeline featured in the TTRPG finale.

The latest release created by Melissa Flores and Meghan Camarena has revealed vital details about the story previously teased for the 2nd series as it is finally realized as a comic.

Power Rangers Hyperforce ended on a massive cliffhanger during Episode 25 as the Alliance of Evil managed to damage the timeline by preventing the Z-Wave from Zordon. Writer Meghan Camarena was one of the players for the Table-Top RPG series produced by HyperRPG and joins Melissa Flores in returning the beloved original team that took part in the 25th-anniversary anniversary celebration of the Power Rangers franchise.

Although Season 2 for the series was planned, the transition of Saban to Hasbro stopped the production of the next chapter, but many fans remained hopeful until finally blessed with the upcoming Graphic novel.

Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce #1 Preview Pages Tease Epic Continuation

The preview pages for Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce #1 finally debut the story Meghan Camarena previously stated she wanted to explore for Chloe Ashford after discovering her father to be the true leader of the Alliance. This was previously mentioned in an interview with Den of Geek in 2022 from the writer before the comic was even possible.

The preview also debuts the first look at the Pink Ranger’s Battlizer mode, the Pink Battle Warrior, which she first used in Episode 12 of the TTRPG series. This is the first art ever created for the mode as some visuals were never designed for specific features that appeared in the series.

The preview also reveals an inner conflict between the Hyperforce Rangers as Chloe is revealed to be working for her father and fights fellow team members. Jack Thomas, Hyperforce Yellow, features in the preview and was played by Ranger actor veteran, Paul Schrier.

The preview also features other Time Force officers on both sides, with the preview ending with the Pink Battle Warrior in a shocking fight with her past comrade. The pages also highlight past events from the first series and an alternate version of Jen Scotts (Time Force Pink played by Erin Cahill) in the altered Timeline, who appeared in the finale episode.

The Pink Battle Warrior is one of the biggest reveals as art never featured the Battlizer mode in Power Rangers Hyperforce as the series was limited due to licensing and cost. This also meant that many other features were never officially revealed including the other formations of the Megazord and the images of the weapons during live-streamed episodes.

This could be the first of many visual debuts as there is a ton of unseen features in the TTRPG, including the Megazord mode for the Hydra Hyper Zord that never happened. It’s crazy to see Camarena take the story in the direction she foresaw for Season 2 and it’s going to be exciting to see what else the creators have in store for fans.

Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce #1 will be released on July 19, 2023, featuring the team in the upcoming Darkest Hour comic event. Power Rangers Unlimited: The Coinless #1 will also include a new Ranger team for the comic event and will be releasing the graphic novel first on June 28, 2023.

Long time fan of Tokusatsu fan since Power Rangers was first released in the 90s. Whereas most Superhero fans grew up with DC Comics and Marvel, my childhood was surrounded by releases from Saban Entertainment such as Beetleborgs, along with anime, and other various fads of the generation. Anime is also a great passion with Digimon, That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime, and Demon Slayer being significant favorites. It was the love of both Power Rangers and Digimon that led to the path of becoming a Senior Writer for The Illuminerdi.
