Step into a universe where style, storytelling, and pop culture collide! The 9th Annual Her Universe Fashion Show is making a triumphant return to San Diego Comic-Con International (SDCC) on July 20th, celebrating the magic and allure of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.
Hosted in the prestigious Harbor Ballroom at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel, the event is set to start at 6 p.m. PT. Be prepared for an evening of fashion, entertainment, and surprise, hosted by Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars, and co-hosted by Broadway’s Aladdin star Michael James Scott.
The Her Universe Fashion Show: An Enchanted Evening of Style and Entertainment
This year’s show aims to encapsulate a hundred years of Disney enchantment, served through a delightful tapestry of couture designs. Ashley Eckstein will showcase a bespoke couture piece combining storytelling and technology in an unprecedented fashion. Furthermore, actor and recording artist Michael James Scott is set to regale the audience with a series of memorable performances.

The Height of Geek Couture: A Fashion Competition
Co-sponsored by Her Universe and Hot Topic, the show will showcase talented designers from across the nation in a geek couture fashion competition. The winners will earn the coveted opportunity to collaborate with Her Universe on a special fashion collection. The audience, alongside a panel of esteemed judges that includes 2022 Her Universe Fashion Show winners Cindy Guillermo and Michael Burson, SVP Hot Topic Merchandising Robin Motts, and the voice of Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Disney Artist, Bret Iwan, will decide the victors.
As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Tim Burton’s ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas,’ Hot Topic and Disney have partnered to transform the lobby of The Her Universe Fashion Show into a whimsical fan experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a recreated Cemetery, take photos, spin Oogie Boogie’s wheel, and more!
Check-in begins at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 20th, with doors opening at 4:15 p.m. The Her Universe Fashion Show is free for all SDCC attendees, inviting fans of all ages to immerse themselves in this unique fusion of pop culture and high fashion.
