Episode 19 of Ohsama Sentai KingOhger finally reveals why the Robo has the same name as the team as the Kings proclaim their name for the first time. Before, the Kings originating from different countries were only bound by a ‘Five Kingdoms Alliance’ treaty, which King Racules dismantles and cuts the article held by Rita. The Kings named themselves after the Guardian Deity revealing their name to be honoring their 10-Shugod Robo, which finally answers why the KingOhger shares its name with the Sentai.

“A new organization formed by kings to cross borders, eliminate interests, and unite countries to defeat their enemies. The official name is “Strategic Lifesaving Unit for Strange Incidents in the Five Kingdoms”, and the common name is “Ohsama Sentai King Ohger”, derived from the name of the guardian deity.”

It’s a fantastic reveal that shows how much focus the writers and creators put into the overall story for the Sentai series. Long time fan of Tokusatsu fan since Power Rangers was first released in the 90s. Whereas most Superhero fans grew up with DC Comics and Marvel, my childhood was surrounded by releases from Saban Entertainment such as Beetleborgs, along with anime, and other various fads of the generation. Anime is also a great passion with Digimon, That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime, and Demon Slayer being significant favorites. It was the love of both Power Rangers and Digimon that led to the path of becoming a Senior Writer for The Illuminerdi.
