Invincible: Get Your 1st Look at the Villain For Season 2!

Get a first look at one of the deadliest new villains in Invincible Season 2 with Angstrom Levy.
Invincible

Season 2 of Invincible is just around the corner, and anticipation is rising for the hit comic book superhero animated series. With the new season comes new challenges, problems, and of course, villains for teenage superhero Mark Grayson, aka Invincible. And one of those new villains is one of his deadliest and diabolical of foes, Angstrom Levy.

The official X account (formerly Twitter) for the series shared a first look at Levy in the series, which you can view below:

INVINCIBLE SEASON 2 OFFERS FIRST LOOK AT THE SINISTER ANGSTROM LEVY

The caption for the new images amusingly reads, “Meet Mark’s best friend from another dimension, Angstrom Levy. They’re going to get along great!!!” Obviously, that’s some clear sarcasm considering what’s expected to happen between Levy and Invincible over the course of the series.

Invincible

The upcoming second season of the breakout hit show featured an all-star cast, and Levy will be voiced by veteran actor Sterling K. Brown, which should be a lot of fun. The recently revealed trailer for the second season didn’t show any footage of Levy, but it did have a short snippet of his dialogue that could audibly be heard during the trailer saying, “Make him pay for destroying your world.”

Clearly, it looks like the animated series is going to offer up a faithful rendition of Levy with his comic book background intact. If that’s true, there are some rough times ahead with Mark where Angstrom Levy is concerned.

The hit show is based on the comic book of the same name created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. In Season 2, Mark is trying to move forward with his life after finding out his father, Omni-Man, turned out to be a brutal murderer after once being the most powerful superhero on the planet.

Now, Mark is struggling to rebuild his life as he faces a group of new threats all while battling his greatest fear, that he might become like his father without ever knowing it. So, it looks like the stakes will be just as high for the upcoming second season.

Season 2 will feature the return of the show’s all-star voice-over cast, including Steven Yeun as Mark/Invincible, J.K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man, Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson, Zazie Beetz as Mark’s girlfriend Amber Bennett, Jason Manzoukas as Rex Splode, Gillian Jacobs as Atom Eve, Walton Goggins as Ceil Steadman, Zachary Quinto as Robot, Seth Rogen as Allen the Alien, and Ross Marquand as The Immortal.

It looks like Season 2 will also have an equally impressive cast of new voice talents joining the crew, including the legendary Peter Cullen, Rob Delaney, Calista Flockhart, Phil LaMarr, Luke MacFarlane, Tatiana Maslany, Scott McNairy, Jay Pharoah, Ella Purnell, Tim Robinson, Ben Schwartz, Rhea Seehorn, Lea Thompson, Paul F. Tompkins, Shantel VanSanten, and more.

Invincible

The first part of Invincible Season 2 debuts on Nov. 3 on Amazon’s Prime Video. Season 2 will have weekly episode drops from Nov. 3 to Nov. 24. The show will then take a short break with the second part of Season 2 debuting in Early 2024.

Additionally, Amazon Studios has announced that voice work for Season 3 has already been recorded, so it looks like fans expect a third season. Also, the gap won’t be as long between Seasons 2 and 3. The series is executive-produced by Kirkman, Catherine Winder, David Alpert, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, Rogen, and Evan Goldberg, and the co-executive producers are Helen Leigh and Walker.
