Digimon Liberator has been revealed as the upcoming project, featuring the Digimon TCG integrated into a new Webcomic series. The new project was previously teased and now fans have been treated by a new trailer revealing the contents of the 2024 release. Along with the announcement, new Digimon and a huge range of cards were teased, with new two Tamers and Monster partners. As Digimon Seekers concludes, the next release will add a new story while also placing the card game in the spotlight.

The new Digimon project was teased during Bandai’s October livestream, which teased the upcoming release for 2024. The first previews of the new project teased the existence of a brand-new and original Rookie Digimon, anticipated as the mascot of the new concept.

Fans of the Digital World have yet to receive a new anime series after the Digimon Ghost Game, but Digimon Seekers filled the gap with a web novel series featuring new Digimon and characters with the use of the Vital Bracelet BE series. The mascot, Loogamon, his partner, and the variety of characters featured in the story also appeared in the Blast Ace booster for the Digimon card game, with more to debut in other releases.

Digimon Liberator Revealed with new Digimon, Characters, and Digimon TCG integration

The new 2024 Digimon project was revealed to be called Digimon Liberator, which will feature in the next upcoming Webcomic series. The second trailer unleashed a lot of teasers, including the release featuring in Spring 2024. The trailer for the project also teased the mascot Digimon alongside a new Digimon, along with their Tamers as featured protagonists. The Digimon Card Game will also be given a major role in the new project as it is integrated into the story.

The trailer also features more to be revealed in the new year as further information will debut in January. Along with the two new Digimon and their Tamers, a range of other Digimon and characters were also teased.

Some of the teased Tamers and Digimon characters include known Digimon from the Vital Bracelet series, such as Sangomon, Ghostmon, Vemmon, Omekamon, and even Sunarizamon. Many new Digimon cards for these characters and Digimon are expected to feature in future boosters for the Digimon Liberator project.

It’s amazing just how much has been teased for Digimon Liberator and it’s exciting that the new release is a Webcomic instead of a novel format. It will be exciting to see how the Digimon TCG will be integrated into the new story, especially since the last series to include any card game was Digimon Tamers (Digimon Season 3).

Although fans may not get a new anime series yet, this will be a highly anticipated release as the Digimon Card Game has grown in popularity since its release. We can’t wait to find out more about the story and characters, along with the new Digimon the partners might Digivolve into.

Digimon Liberator webcomic serialization begins in Spring 2024, with more announcements coming soon. The next update regarding the latest Digimon Project will be revealed in January 2024.

Whereas most Superhero fans grew up with DC Comics and Marvel, my childhood was surrounded by releases from Saban Entertainment such as Beetleborgs, along with anime, and other various fads of the generation. Anime is also a great passion with Digimon, That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime, and Demon Slayer being significant favorites. It was the love of both Power Rangers and Digimon that led to the path of becoming a Senior Writer for The Illuminerdi.
