ARMORED CORE VI: FIRES OF RUBICON Delivers Ranked Matches to Players

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently released a free update for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. The new update for the game adds a highly requested Ranked Match PvP mode to the game, along with nameplates to display in matchups.

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently released a free update for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. The new update for the game adds a highly requested Ranked Match PvP mode to the game, along with nameplates to display in matchups.

ARMORED CORE VI: FIRES OF RUBICON FINALLY GETS REQUESTED MATCH MODE

The online battle simulator Next in the game now welcomes the Ranked Match mode. Players who join the ranked matches will be automatically paired with players of similar ranks and compete to climb up the ladder from Unranked to S rank.

The mode features two different match types: 1v1 and 3v3 for intense team battles. Both types have separate ranking ladders. Also, Players can show off their customized mechs and prove their efficiency in battle.

For players to be recognizable online by other mercenaries, players now have access to different designs to personalize their nameplates displayed in custom matches and ranked matches. Also, nameplates can be purchased with Nest Points received from participating in Ranked makes or earned depending on the results in the ranked matchups. Here’s the lineup of Patch 1.05 for the game:

  • Battle other players in ranked online matchmaking
  • Carve your name into the ranked leaderboard
  • Enhance your AC loadout with new parts
  • Take the fight to new places with new PVP maps

  • Pilot your mech in fast-paced, omnidirectional battles, taking advantage of your mech’s mobility both on land and in the air to ensure victory across massive stages.
  • Explore a breadth of playstyles and combat styles by customizing your mech’s buildout between missions. Pick and equip your preferred parts via a robust customization system that can dramatically alter your play strategy, maneuverability, and battle style.
  • Deploy a wide variety of offensive and defensive tactics at close and long range to take down powerful enemy bosses.

It’s nice to see FromSoftware giving continued support to the Fires of Rubicon experience and improving the game’s overall quality of life for its player base. It should be interesting to see what else might be on the horizon for the latest installment of the Armored Core franchise.
