THE ACTORS BEHIND THE KARATE KID

The Karate Kid films have become a pop culture phenomenon that spans almost three decades. The franchise has earned $618 million globally with the creation of the Emmy-nominated series Cobra Kai. Just like the film series, Cobra Kai became a popular series that introduced a whole new generation to enjoy the world of the Karate Kid.

Knight is best known for his role as the Red Dagger on Disney+’s Ms. Marvel. Before the 2022 series, he starred in AMC’s Into the Badlands for three seasons. He has guest starred and appeared as recurring characters on multiple television series such as Rizzoli & Isles, Psych, NCIS, Lost, and many more. He’s also done a few films including The Dark Knight Rises, Crossing Over, and Rendition.

Oleff has also appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a young Peter Quill in the Guardians of the Galaxy film franchise. He has also played the role of Stanley Uris in the supernatural horror film franchise It. Last year, he led Apple’s recent crime drama series City on Fire and prior to that series, he starred in I Am Not Okay With This on Netflix.
