Something special is coming to WB Games’ MultiVersus. Just revealed in a brand-new cinematic trailer, it’s none other than The Joker, voiced by the one and only Mark Hamill, who will be coming to the game for its official launch later this month!

Hamill portrayed the character across the iconic Batman: The Animated Series, along with its various spinoffs, the Batman: Arkham video game series, along with multiple other animated and gaming projects. The Joker, voiced by Mark Hamill, will be available when MultiVersus makes its official launch on May 28.
MARK HAMILL’S JOKER JOINS THE ROSTER OF MULTIVERSUS
The new cinematic trailer is a lot of fun. It comedically shows other Warner Bros. characters who have been taken out by The Joker in the Batcave, including Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes, Shaggy from Scooby Doo, and Arya from Game of Thrones! Of course, it’s Batman who enters the cave to confront his longtime foe.
The Joker then utters in the immortal voice of Hamill, “Oh Batman, we have got to stop meeting like this! Wait till they get a load of me!” It’s pretty fun to hear Hamill use one of the famous lines by Jack Nicholson from the 1989 Batman movie directed by Tim Burton.
It’s very appropriate Mark Hamill’s Joker is being featured in the game since the late, great Kevin Conroy voicing Batman is also part of the game’s roster. Conroy voiced Batman opposite Hamill as The Joker in many projects going back to the early 1990s with Batman: The Animated Series, so this is a nice reunion on multiple levels. It’s great to see The Joker joining the roster as a playable character.
MultiVersus is a free-to-play platform fighter with an expanding cast of iconic characters and legendary universes, various online modes, in-game events, ongoing content-filled seasons, and more. The game will be available as a free download on May 28 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One consoles.
It will also be available for Windows PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). The game will feature cross-play and cross-progression support.
