Hawkeye Disney Plus Series Gets A New Working Title As Pre-Production Continues

The Disney+ "Hawkeye" series has a new working title.

One of the anticipated additions to Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is the Hawkeye series, which seemingly moves further in the production as it gets it’s working title.

Hawkeye’s Working Title

The working title of the Hawkeye series is: Anchor Point. It’s definitely no coincidence that the collected first volume of Kelly Thompson’s Hawkeye series is called Anchor Points, which features Kate Bishop. Working titles are a code name that is given to film production, in an effort to disguise these large-scale production from onlookers and scoopers.

It was planned to start shooting in late-September, but due to the coronavirus pandemic this date is not set in stone. While Jeremy Renner is set to return, Marvel Studios still has to cast their Kate Bishop. There have been rumors for months that Marvel Studios is eyeing Hailee Steinfeld for the role.
