A new piece of promo art for Marvel Studios’ Eternals has leaked online giving another look at the full team.
The seemingly never-ending delays to the movie industry keep coming almost daily at this point, which continues to push back release dates for some of the biggest movies that fans are waiting for in theaters. Included in this mayhem is Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is set to bring a handful of exciting sequel along with new projects introducing dozens of never-before-seen characters to the constantly expanding franchise.
One of these new properties is 2021’s Eternals, whose has been pushed back a nearly a full year after originally being scheduled for release tomorrow, and then in February 2021. The movie has already earned a ton of hype thanks to its incredible ensemble cast and the promise of exploring so many time periods in MCU history, and they will also come in as the first brand new team of heroes in Phase 4.
There have already been a few looks at this new superhero team thanks to presentations at both San Diego Comic-Con and D23 2019, along with multiple leaks from new pieces of merchandise. Another new piece of merchandise has just released as well, giving fans possibly the best look yet at Marvel’s race of immortals.
A New Look at the Eternals
Thanks to a leak on Twitter, a new piece of artwork has found its way to the internet featuring the entire core cast from Marvel Studios’ Eternals fully geared up in their otherworldly outfits. From left to right, the team features Lia McHugh as Sprite, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Barry Keoghan as Druig, and Lauren Ridloff as Makkari.

Even while this new picture doesn’t reveal anything new, it’s an amazing look at the full team together and all suited up. The costumes look great, and it just amps up the hype that much more as fans wait to finally see this new team in action for the first time. As Richard Madden’s Ikaris leads the way with Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan and the rest of the team close behind him, the MCU fan base is already envisioning what the Eternals will look like in action during their first run in the MCU.

No plot details have been officially revealed for Eternals, except that they will be traversing through multiple different time periods in the MCU’s long history, and they will also have some sort of interaction or confrontation with their creators and enemies, the Deviants. However, thanks to a screengrab from an upcoming toy, we may have more to work with.
Judging from the above description, MCU fans might not be expecting the epic space adventure that Marvel Studios has been cooking up behind the scenes. Eternals is set to bring more new characters to the forefront than almost any MCU movie before it, and with Oscar buzz already forming a year before its release, it’s hard not to get excited for this debut to finally arrive.
Eternals is set for worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2021. What are you expecting from the upcoming cosmic Marvel adventure? Which character are you most excited to see be brought to life?
